What is digital pathology?
Digital pathology is basically the transfer of slides to the computer. It is possible to do this transfer process by using the scanner systems of different companies. Whichever system is used, the scanning processes are generally the same. The slides are digitized with a scanner device containing a high resolution camera with a 20x or 40x (can be both) lens and transferred to the computer environment with a special file extension. Afterwards, the preparations can be examined with the imaging program, which is a part of the same system. You can access these files either from your local computer or online from the server. However, it is more preferred to use these systems based on the internet.
